PROVISIONS OF THE QUR'AN ABOUT THE RELIGIONS

Let me state at the beginning of my article that the Qur'an does not want the establishment of the priesthood, that is, the profession of clergy. ( Hadid/27 -- Tawba/ 34 ) Of course, people also need religious services, such as imams and muezzins in Islam. These services will be performed by volunteers in addition to their professions, for the sake of GOD -- without a fee or benefit. -- -- INCLUDING RELIGION AND QURAN EDUCATION ---- ( Kalem/46 -- Müddesir/6 - - Sad/86 -- Yasin/20-21 -- Shuara/109 -- 127 -- Yusuf/104 -- En'am/90 -- Saba/47 -- Shura/23 --Muminun/72 )

As a matter of fact, at the beginning of the revelation, the Prophet and the first Muslims who helped him had occupations in which they made their living. Afterwards, these provisions were followed in the period up to the Umayyads, including the Caliphs.

Below, I present the criticisms brought by the Qur'an to the profession of clergy. Of course, the mistakes mentioned in the criticism may not cover all the clergy, although there are very few in number, there are those who follow the provisions of the Qur'an on the subject due to their own beliefs.
