I mentioned in an earlier article that one of the miraculous features of the Qur'an is the repetition of some words and messages. There is a very beautiful and special surah regarding this subject: Surah RAHMAN. In this surah, a verse is repeated 31 times with the same words and letters:
'' NOW, WHICH BENEFITS OF YOUR LORD DO YOU CALL LIE? ''
This verse, whose meaning is like this, begins again in the 13th verse of the Rahman Surah, which consists of 78 verses, and ends in the 77th verse.
First, examples of our Lord's blessings are given one by one, and then asked:
Now which favors of your Lord would you say to lie?
Here are the blessings in italics, the repetitions in bold:
Surah Rahman:
1 - Rahman
2 - Taught the Qur'an
3 - He created man
4 - Belletti told him that beautiful statement
5 - The sun and the moon are in reckoning.
6 - Grass and tree prostrate.
7- Look at this beautiful sky
8 - He raised it and set the balance so that you would not be excessive on the scale.
9 - Keep the scales straight with justice. Do not miss the measure!
10 -He also put the earth for the living
11 - There are fruits and palm trees with buds in bunches.
12 - Grass grains and fragrant plants are in it.
13 - Now which favors of your Lord would you say to lie? (one)
14 - He created man from a baked clay like fagfur.
15 - He created the jinn from a smokeless fire.
16 - Now which favors of your Lord would you say to lie? (2)
17 - Lord of the two easts and the Lord of the two wests.
18 - Now which favors of your Lord would you say to lie? (3)
19 - He has released the two seas. They always clash with each other.
20 - But there is a barrier between them, they do not interfere with each other.
21 - Now which favors of your Lord would you say to lie? (4)
22 - Pearls and corals emerge from them.
23 - Now which of the favors of your Lord would you say to lie? (5)
24 - And the ships that flow in the sea and rise like mountains belong to Him.
25 - Now which favors of your Lord would you say to lie? (6)
26-27 - Everyone above you is mortal; That face of your Lord, O zul-jalali ve'l-ikram!
28 - Now which favors of your Lord would you say to lie? (7)
29 - He begs Him in the heavens and on the earth; He is at work every day.
30 - Now which of the favors of your Lord would you say to lie? (8)
31 - Tomorrow (to see your account) we will stay with you, O community of jinn and humans!
32 - Now which of the favors of your Lord would you say to lie? (9)
33 - O community of jinn and humans! If you are able to pass by the heavens and the earth, then go. But If you don't have the strength, you can't pass.
34 - Now which of the favors of your Lord would you say to lie? (10)
35 - A bar of fire will be thrown on you, a poison of smoke, even if you say you can't get rid of it, take care.
36 - Now which of the favors of your Lord would you say to lie? (11)
37 - When the sky is like a rose that splits and melts like butter, reddens and burns.
38 - Now which favors of your Lord would you say to lie? (12)
39 - On that day, neither man nor jinn will be asked about their sins.
40 - Now which of the favors of your Lord would you say to lie? (13)
41 - Sinners are recognized by their faces and are held by their feet with their forelocks.
42 - Now which of the favors of your Lord would you say to lie? (14)
43 - Here is the hell that these criminals call a lie.
44 - With it, a hot water circulates between them.
45 - Now which of the favors of your Lord would you say to lie? (15)
46 - He who fears the station of his Lord will have two gardens.
47 - Now which of the favors of your Lord would you say to lie? (16)
48 - In each of them there are various fruits and trees.
49 - Now which favors of your Lord would you say to lie? (17)
50 - There are two springs flowing in them.
51 - Now which of the favors of your Lord would you say to lie? (18)
52 - Of them there are pairs of every fruit.
53 - Now which of the favors of your Lord would you say to lie? (19)
54 - They have endured such furnishings that the (flooring) linings are made of satin, and the scavenging of both heavens is close.
55 - Now which of the favors of your Lord would you say to lie? (20)
56 - In those heavens, there are such beauties who turn their eyes only to their husbands, who have not been touched by humans or jinn before them.
57 - Now which of the favors of your Lord would you say to lie? (21)
58 - You think they are rubies and corals.
59 - Now which of the favors of your Lord would you say to lie? (22)
60 - The reward of goodness is of course goodness.
61 - Now which of the favors of your Lord would you say to lie? (23)
62 - Two other paradises from beyond.
63 - Now which of the favors of your Lord would you say to lie? (24)
64 - Greasy green, what a glamor !
65 - Now which of the favors of your Lord would you say to lie? (25)
66 - The double fountain ejected from these!
67 - Now which of the favors of your Lord would you say to lie? (26)
68 - In them is another fruit, another date, and another pomegranate.
69 - Now which of the favors of your Lord would you say to lie? (27)
70 - Among them are beautiful, good-natured women.
71 - Now which of the favors of your Lord would you say to lie? (28)
72 - Houris hidden in mosquito nets.
73 - Now which of the favors of your Lord would you say to lie? (29)
74 - They have not touched, human and jinn.
75 - Now which of the favors of your Lord would you say to lie? (30)
76 - They rest on green pillows and beautiful mattresses.
77 - Now which of the favors of your Lord would you say to lie? (31)
78 - The name of your Lord, Owner of Majesty and Bounty, is exalted, exalted.
